    Below is a 1600 calories for a daily menu that provides moms with fiber, protein and heart healthy fats to keep her energy up but will enable her to begin losing weight.

    Breakfast:
    Egg white omelet with veggies and light whole grain toast, 1 orange

    OR

    1 cup Cottage cheese topped with ½ cup Fiber One and 1 cup raspberries
    Drink Green Tea (speeds up metabolism)

    Lunch:
    Turkey Sandwich with lettuce, cucumber, tomato and avocado (instead of mayo) on High fiber, whole wheat tortilla
    An apple

    Snack:
    10 baby carrots with ¼ cup hummus to dip
    OR
    Raisins and Pistachios
    Or
    Gnu Foods Flavor and Fiber Bar

    Dinner:
    Miso Soup
    Green Salad with Ginger Dressing
    1 cup edamame
    Sushi roll (made with brown rice) such as California roll
